Hi Bob, Fresh Maps give you quarterly map updates as opposed to yearly map updates. Since the Seeing Eye app uses maps on the server where it always accesses the latest maps this of course doesn't apply, but yes, in the end you also pay something with apps like Navigon if frequent map updates are something you want.
