I'm a little bit crazy over the hdmx jam speakers. The classic model, which is
what I own 2 of, can usually be found for around $35. Up front, I have to say,
I like this speaker so much because it is darn adorable. Lol!

That aside, it works brilliantly! If you are strictly using it for bluetooth,
there might be better options out there. I believe it only gets 4 hours of
battery life using bluetooth. I haven't tested this much.

I primarily use it via a 3.5mm cable. It is suppose to get 12 hours of battery
life this way, but I swear it goes way beyond that mark. I use it with my
touch, iPhone, shuffle, and I have a book sense player. It works great for all
of them.

I love the packaging of this product. It looks like a little jam jar; perfect
for travel. The base of the unit is rubbery, so it stays in put nicely. There
is a switch on the bottom for on/off. Around the lower rim of the unit, there
is mini USB port for charging, 3.5MM port, volume down, pause/play, & volume up.

Hope that was helpful!
Traci
PS. I have the strawberry which is red and the apricot which is sort of a gold.
