Hi. Today, I called my home number to leave a message for my partner. The call went through, I heard the greeting. I have a mailbox on the voice mail system and so does my partner. If you leave me a message, you just wait for the tone. To leave her a message, you have to press 2. There was no speech and the speech came back after I hung up the call. So, I couldn't leave a message because I couldn't hear where the two was located.
What happened and should I set something in settings differently? Thanks. On a similar note, when dialing the Verizon voice mail system to check one's messages, you have to press pound and then dial in your phone number. I listened to David Woodbridge's podcast on automatically dialing numbers, say, your account number when calling a credit card company, etc. and you put pound signs between the sets of numbers. I'm assuming that you could press pound twice to give the pound and then the pound and then the phone number and then a pound for the password? I haven't tried it yet. Just wondering about the pound and the pound Verizon wants. Margo and Arrow -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
