I know all that but there is a way to enter numbers in your contact so you don't have to dial all the numbers and symbols every time. I'm wondering if it'll recognize two pound signs. This is from one of David Woodbridge's podcasts on apple vis.

In order for voice over the work once you've made a telephone call and if you put the phone to your ear to activate the sensor you need to wake your phone going to speakerphone first. Then you should be a will to hear voice over at the number two key. Then if that does not work it's a possibility that you turn speech off, to turn the speech back on the need to do a three finger double tap. I hope that helps you with that question. Now onto your home voicemail question, Verizon Wireless users hit the pound key that should take you to your password, type in your password and hit the pound again. Hope I've helped you and you have a great night now.
