Regarding using KeePass, I must respectfully disagree but the following are
definitely too many steps for me, and probably for others:
1. from Home screen launch mini KeePass.
2. enter Mini KeePass password. If you're a security freak as I am, your
password will be 20+ characters in length.
3. swipe 4 times or until one finds desired KeePass database.
5. Double-tap on the desired database.
6. Depending on how mini KeePass is configured, manually enter long 20 pin
password to open specific previously created database.
7. Depending on desired entry, one must now tap anywhere from 7 swipes or
until one finds desired KeePass entry.
8. Double-tap to open entry.
9. Swipe several times to actually locate desired information and open the
entry.
10. Since the information desired is located within an edit field, the
person must use the rotor to read the information either via line, word,
etc. I'm assuming important passwords and such are being encrypted, so this
most likely means reading the information by character, which means more
swipes.

This is many steps for me, and I'm assuming for anyone else out in the
field.

Of course, results will vary, but what I have described above is typical of
the steps necessary to open a KeePass database.

Hi, I must respectfully disagree with your view that it takes too many
taps or keystrokes to use MiniKeepass. In fact, when I want to access a
web site for which I don't remember the password, I bring up the entry
in MiniKeepass and double-tap the password field. It's then copied
automatically to the clipboard where I can paste it into Safari's
password. If using the rotor to switch to edit and if double-pressing
home to bring up the app switcher and if typing in your password to
unlock your Keepass database is too many taps for retrieving secure
data, then I guess it's too many taps. Still though, security means a
lot to me and MiniKeepass for user names and passwords which I don't
have memorized is perfect. Same with social security numbers I may need
or account numbers, the list goes on. Your opinion isn't wrong, and
neither is mine. However it's fair to point out two differing view
points so others can make a better decision.
