Yeah, if you look at the developer's participation on Applevis and listen to his interview on a SeroTalk podcast, you'll see how much he has done for accessibility once he was contacted by a blind user and how committed he is to accessibility.

Subject: Re: Accessibility suggestions

Hi Denny,

I'm glad you're enjoying the game, and thanks for the feedback!

Some brief thoughts on your suggestions:
1. I can see how this would be tricky - we'll put this on the list as
something to try to improve in the future, though I can't guarantee
any specific timeframe.
2-3. I'm actually just finishing implementing a VoiceOver-specific
menu for managing the shops in your castle. This menu lets you list
all of your existing structures, rush construction of ones that are
building, destroy existing shops, and move them around the castle.
It also shows summary stats about how many empty units are
available. I'm hoping this will solve most of the VoiceOver related
castle management issues, though it will be interesting to hear the
feedback once it's released. Keep an eye out for our next update in
the next few weeks.

Sincerely,
Eric

Hello,

I have enjoyed playing this game so far as a blind user. Also I
want to say I have enjoyed how willing you have been to work out the
accessibility issues so far.

Here are some suggestions to help us blind people even more:

1. In the arena give filter options so we don't have to try and
scroll through the entire list of 100 castles to find one to
battle. I have found this a very big disadvantage to playing the
game, since it allows those able to navigate the arena easier the
ability to simply out-navigate a blind user and blow past them in
ratings. A good example of this was my experience this morning. I
was up against two other individuals, all of us starting at around
the same rating, and the two of them simply blew ahead of me, even
though I was battling castles as fast as possible. If you could
sort by castles not yet battled, or have a view that filters them
out, that would be great. Even better would be the ability to have
more sort and filter options, say all castles under this level, ones
without a huntress, etc.

2. Give us an idea of what area we have left to build in the
castle. If there was a bit of text saying that you have only space
for this size of piece at a max to build, then that might give us
options to look at when building. This one isn't as big of a deal,
since we can always just start at the biggest we want to build, and
work down to the smaller ones, placing the biggest we can actually
build when we get to it.

3. Give us the ability to navigate the shops we currently have in
the castle. I have had several times I truely wished to rush
construction but, after the first dialog goes away, just after you
choose to build the shop, I can not get the option to rush
construction again. I would hope that, if you were able to find and
click on the shop, that rush construction would come up again. This
would also give us the options to get rid of shops that do not give
much money, in comparison to new shops, since I have found the
destroy button on accident several times now. I do not think you
need to do anything fancy like navigating the actual castle
structure. If you can just list the shops currently in the castle,
as well as the castle levels themselves, then I think that would be
enough. It would at least give us options to find the shops, which
we don't have currently.

Thanks again for this game. I have been buying esper quite a lot,
to support you guys and all the work you ahve done for us blind
users! My castle is Dragon Den.
