Hi Casey; The Otterbox defender case is a tried and true item that works as advertised.
I know it's a little bulky but, nothing is perfect. They had problems with the defender when it first appeared on the market. However; that was about four years ago and, they are a long way passed it. The transmit audio had a little echo on it. On the other hand, I heard people complaining that people were saying that the transmit audio on the Lifeproof case is muffled. So, it's up to you.
