Hi Alan,

You need something that has A2DP. You can often buy the 2 things together.
The transmitters are very inexpensive.

I'm looking for a bluetooth transmitter that I can plug into the 3.5 Mm
output jack of my VR Stream and pair with my bluetooth ear peace.

What kind of ear peace do I need? My present ear peace is only for phone
calls.-------

Regards,

Alan

It also seems like the Bluetooth receiver needs power. I was hoping to buy
a little thing like the transmitter to receive. No such luck, that I could
find anyway. I wanted something I could move around with smaller speakers.
I ended up buying a new Bluetooth speaker.

Hi all. The thing you have to be careful when purchasing Bluetooth
adapters for audio is whether you want to receive or transmit. This
makes the entire difference in what you get. If you want to use your
iPhone for example to play music to a speaker or a headphone which is
not Bluetooth, then you want to get a Bluetooth audio receiver. Now, if
you want to do the other way around, like you want to play music from a
non-bluetooth device, like the NLS player, a Victor Reader Stream, the
lesser Book Sense, or a cheap MP3 player, then you want to get a
Bluetooth audio transmitter. The receiver will receive audio from a
bluetooth device such as an iPhone, the transmitter will send from a
non-bluetooth device to Bluetooth speakers.

I hope I didn't cause confusion, but I've seen too many reviews from
online places where people give bad reviews because they want to
transmit, but buy a receiver, or the other way around.

Below are links to first a transmitter, then a receiver.

Transmitter, this is the one you connect to a device which does not have
Bluetooth and you want to listen to its audio from a Bluetooth speaker.

ooth+transmitter

Receiver, this is the device which listens to Bluetooth output from a
Bluetooth device like an iPhone. You would connect this device to
non-bluetooth listening gear, like stereos or headphones/speakers which
don't have Bluetooth.
