I would say that the best thing to do is to try it for yourself. I have
tried both on and off for an extended period of time to be fair to both.
Some folks say with the compact voice off, that their iPhone ran slower. I
didn't experience that with my iPhone 4. My problem with compact voice off
was the voice would shift between compact voice off and on which I found
personally annoying and I didn't think the compact voice off setting was
worth it so I turned compact voice back on. Everybody's tasks are
different. Try it both ways and see which way you like it.
To change between compact voice off and on, do the following.
1 Open settings.
2 Flick with 1 finger right to get to general.
3 Flick right to get to accessibility.
4 open Voice-over.
5 Now flick right to get to the compact voice. This is a toggle. You can
toggle compact voice on or off. Judge for yourself which is better suited
to your needs. My personal choice is compact voice on. What's yours?
