Hello Sieghard, Thanks for checking in on this. Would it be good then to turn screen curtain off, set brightness down to 0 and turn autobrightness off to keep that setting? Also, what about if a sighted person were to use the phone, should that setting be left on? Would one still get the same affect of increased battery life? Thanks in advance for your response

Dimming the screen does effect the battery." The curtain function is a means to obscure screen content quickly, hence the three-finger triple-tap activates it.
