Karen: The innards of the 5c are the same as the 5. However they say battery life is a bit better due to IOS 7. Also because of the new case it will be $100 cheaper. As far as the fingerprint sensor I think it's a great idea since we don't have to type passwords in anymore which anyone could listen to. The idea of the camera being better for OCR is an interesting idea and remains to be seen. If I had a 5s I wouldn't consider the upgrade but since my wife has a three year old 4 I will probably get the new 5s and giv her my 5 since she doesn't care about technology as much as I do.
