The 5c is the same internally as the 5. The only difference is that the 5c has a plastic back and comes in different colours. The 5s, on the other hand, has several upgrades. The upgrades that caught my attention are: 64 bit a7 processor, two led flash, wide camera aperture, a more precise motion tracking system, and fingerprint unlocking. The first three will provide significantly improved OCR, object recognition, barcode scanning, and colour recognition. The fourth will provide more accurate motion tracking for things like distance measurement and certain types of app / Siri activation. The fifth will provide much better, and yet more convenient security.
