After moving the app, try pressing the home button then confirm the amount 
of home screen pages. I was confused in the previous IOS6 when I was 
experiencing this effect.

When i move apps between pages, the immediate pages are getting skipped. 
Suppose if i intend to move an app from page one to two, it is getting moved 
to page 3 or 4. No such problems prior.
