Hi Tessa,

I use Facebook about twice a year when one of the few people I have on there
sends me an email via Facebook instead of directly. Unfortunately Facebook
and Twitter are 2 topics I know very little about because for the most part
I consider them a waste of time, just my opinion. Hopefully somebody else
who knows more can help you get these contacts back.
I use Office 365 for my work email and Outlook.com for my personal email, so
all my contacts are either on the Office 365 servers or on Outlook.com
servers. This means if I have to do a restore or if I get a new device, all
I do is set up my mail account and make sure Contacts are checked and within
a short time they all download back to my device as does all my email.
Furthermore, my email, contacts and calendar are always kept in sync between
my iPhone, my laptop and my 2 work computers and I think nowadays using
Outlook.com or gmail for this is totally the way to go.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi Sieghard:
The app wasn't doing anything, just kept saying double tap to pause
download, but it wasn't down loading. I plugged it into itunes several times

and on the third or fourth time syncing with my computer it finally managed
to sync the facebook app. That might explain why I've lost most of my
facebook contacts, I did update the contacts from the facebook option in
settings but it didn't give me the missing facebook contats, any thoughts as

to how I can get those back, if that's possible.
Thanks
Tessa

: Hi Tessa,
:
: So when you double tap on it, is it downloading and is the progress
counting
: up towards 100%? If not or if it is and then it starts over you probably
: should just delete it altogether and redownload it.
