Hi Ricardo and others on this subject, Thank you for your responses. In trying out both a Kindle book and an iBook, I noticed that the kindle app does not announce page numbers as one moves page by page neither in braille or with voiceover. Is there a setting that I am missing? Or is this really the case with the app? Also, if one were to get the kindle copy and it is available through a third party seller, would one simply download the book and transfer it to the Kindle app via iTunes? As far as Voiceover speech, there's really no difference in my opinion. They both do continuous reading. In iBooks, you might find it easier to navigate via table of contents in books since this is not always provided in Kindle books. But, both apps are free, and both have free books you can download so you can get a feel for which one you like best with Braille support.
