I have noticed the same thing. I live in North Carolina, USA, and have thought that SIRI has taken a step back in response. I love the automatically listening for a response after SIRI asks a question, but the time between asking a question and getting a response is sometimes large.
Also, when using dictate in messaging, I sometimes have to move focus away from the message pane and back to get the text read. Thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy, well, not this time, anyway!
