Try this.....
Delete the Facebook app from your iPhone.
Go to settings and swipe down until you hear Facebook.
Open this and delete your account from the iPhone from here.
Then reinstall the Facebook app.
Hopefully this will work for you. I'm using an iPhone 5, but you didn't
specify which iPhone you were passing onto your hubby, or if you did I
missed it.

HI. thanks I did know how to log out of the mobile site. My husband is
sighted and the facebook app is better for him since he can ask siri to open
it etc. So does anyone know how I can sign out of the app so I can log him
in?

near the top of the page you should find buttons for main menu, friend
request, messages and notifications. Double tap on main menu. Once the

taking you to the top of the page with each swipe. Within several swipes
you should hear copyright, privacy policy, terms of use, log-out, account

Sorry I can't help with logging out of Facebook using the Facebook app,
because I don't use the Facebook app. In my opinion, it doesn't have as
many of the features as the mobile site and I could never get the share or
comment buttons to work for me.
