Hi Ron, This does actually work well and quicker. I used to press the home button once to wake up the phone but always let go again, then I'd would put my finger back on it of course without pressing it so it would read the print and unlock the phone. Doing it the way you described is easier and quicker because your finger is already in place. Not a bad observation for an old French guy, could almost come from this german genious I know *smile*
