You can set whether updates are downloaded automatically or not by going
into Settings -> iTunes and App Store and toggling the Updates button on
or off.
You can go into the Updates tab of the App Store to update a single app
or update all apps, if you have automatic updates turned off. You can
also review your update history to see when you updated an app or when
it was updated automatically.
