I suppose the nuclear option might just be the last resort
Settings, general, reset, erase content and settings.
On my iPhone 4, when I had a problem that I couldn't resolve with a reset,
that is to say hold down the power button and the home button for 10
seconds. Somebody called it the nuclear option because you lose everything
but what it does is it returns your iPhone to the way it was the day you
bought it. When it was finished, of course I had to reload everything but I
had my music and apps backed up. It did fix the problem though. I would
only use this option if you've tried everything else. It will return your
phone to the status it was in when you bought it.

I'm guessing this suggestion would have been included within one of the
resets you tried, but once I had to go through the process of telling my
phone to Forget this network" or something like that, and it fixed whatever
the problem I was having at the time.
In Settings find your WiFi network
, flick right to More Info, then double tap and on the next screen flick
right through the screen until it gets to Forget this network." And press OK
or whatever it tells you to do. Then go back to Settings WiFi look for
networkds to join , click on your network and reenter your password.
I can't imagine this would work given all you've been through, but at least
I wanted to throw it out there. We all hope you can get this fixed.
Best, Keith and s

Well, I think my iPhone is possessed. I still have no wifi, all the things
suggested done including resetting all settings. When I asked Siri to turn
my wifi on, she said she did it, but then when I then asked her to turn it
ouf to see if there was any difference in the status bar, she told me wifi
was already off. Now when I tap the home button 3 times, it says app
switcher, but it is not in the app switcher. Cannot turn off VO any longer.
OMG, what in the world happened? I used it last night and it was fine. Now
it will not even reset?
screaming in frustration and worry somehow I broke it and I have a month
until I can upgrade

This is driving me crazy! I have tried every reset except to literally
restore the phone. It worked on wifi last night fine. Is there a reset I can
do to just take iPhone out of wifi and reinstall it without doing a total
restore? Computers and iPad fine. My wifi is dimmed! Help, and thanks for
any help in advance. Seems iPhone in many ways has decided to give us a rumn
for the money!
