IMO this is insulting. I have never as long as I have been buying blindness products, braille printer in the old days before windows, scanner from edge, my first computer with jaws, dectalk soundcard, laptop for school, you get the idea. Never as a blind user have I felt I was “entitled to freebies! I am talking about a once free app going to subscription service, and stating I think it is overpriced. If you didn’t get timed-out pictures, unrecognized images, and just plain wrong info, i.e. my black dog was called a black cat. sometimes when I scan cans I have to take more than one picture, so the 100 pics are impractical, and I don’t think I use it enough for the monthly fee. We took a lot of pics mostly for fun, but I’m not spending 120 a year for identifying a few cans for cooking. I’ll go to other apps.
