not that I know of, but the delete button is right above the home
button, so it's easy to find and double tap.
Also, before you open an email message, when you're in your in box, you
can just flick down to get to delete and then double tap to delete the
message. This is particularly handy if you have hints turned on and
you're displaying enough of your message in the preview to determine if
you want to open up the message and read the whole thing or just delete it.
