Hi Sieghard. Is there any barcode scanner on the market, that can be used with a mac or maybe an IPhone, so that it will be easier to find the barcodes and you could do it quicker. I am using barcodes much, and if there was a device on the market for a reasonable price and some software, that could be used, I would like to buy a barcode scanner. Having said that there are some improvements with the new IPhone 5s.
