You can use airplay to play through an airport express to your stereo. This is on a Mac of course. There is also an app called airfoil, which you can use to get the audio from apps to your stereo if you don't have airplay or if the app doesn't have airplay support. Mary PS I have heard that there are issues with airfoil on Mavericks.
