Hi Ben.
No, unfortunately, I can't stop changing the subject of the email. Before
happened that the people didn't like that I use the same subject when the
issue wasn't the same why the email started, so I am trying to make every
body happy.
Now, about Google, yes, it doesn't offer hundreds of answers, it offer
thousands of answers, even though my problem doesn't fit in in of those
answers. Reset your router fixed your problem?
well, it didn't in my case. I reset my router, I update the firmware of my
router, I deactivated the fire wall in my computer, I updated iTunes in my
computer, but my iPhone or my apple TV is not able to connect to the
library.
so, Google is not helping so much. Sorry ben, but I can make happy every
body. I don't want later receive emails saying that I started talking about
apple TVs, and now I am talking about itunes libraries, so I should change
the topic. You know, 3 weeks ago, happened something like that. The problem
is not only my apple tv, is also my iPhone that is not connecting to the
iTunes library. So maybe is not my apple tv, or my iPhone, could be iTunes?
could be my computer, could be my router, could be the weather, I don't
know.
Sorry my friend.

Hi,
Could you please stop changing the subject of your messages? It makes
it harder for those of us that use Gmail to keep track of what has
already been suggested.
This is almost certainly a router problem. Whilst I would suggest
disabling all firewalls to make sure that they're not stopping it from
working, I too have the same problem every now and again and rebooting
the router usually solves the problem.
Additionally, if you Google the error message, you'll find hundreds of
people who are having the same problem and nine times out of ten it
boils down to a router. Apples suggestion is to buy an airport express
(no surprises there), but my Netgear DGN2200 seams to cope with it
pretty well, where as an older Netgear DG834G struggled.
Cheers,
Ben.

Yes, I would agree that that is quite probably the problem you are

Hi all.
Ok, my apple tv is not able to get my iTunes library, even getting the
home sharing on in iTunes in my computer. I was thinking that the
problem
is my router firmware, but I did the update, and I am not able to get
the
iTunes library with my apple tv, or with remote in my iPhone either.
Now,
I am guessing.
could be that my fire wall software is blocking the connection?
I am using eset smart something, it is antivirus, fire wall,
antispam, antitroyans, antiHackers, antiEveryThing, and maybe it is the
problem. even though, this soft is not pretty accessible with jaws. I
don't know if I should do something to let this software knows that I
need
allow the trafic for witch ports?
maybe it is not the problem, but the router is not the problem either,
and
if my apple tv and my iPhone are not able to see the iTunes library,
maybe
the problem is in the computer. it could be true?
