You may have to specify wich file types you want to share like, music, documents etc. At least it is so on a mac.
The password must be correct. Can you connect to the internet with iPhone and Apple tv through the link sys? If you cannot, there may be a password issue. If you can connect to the internet through Linksys, there may be a iTunes problem like showing iTunes which file types you want to share. A while back i had a firewall where i had to allow for specific programs like internet explorer, music player etc. It was a choice between ports or program filter.
