Like I said, when I last had it working on the original Mini, the buttons
lined up along an edge, the bottom edge above the home button was perfect,
though a little tight for me; this was an evenly spaced line with no gap in
the middle or extra button for space like the original configuration I never
got the hang of. Rest Mini on lap or tabletop and put first 3 fingers of
each hand side by side along the bottom of the screen.

Ps: and we did come across this a lot - a case that covers the device
fairly thoroughly helps, I had Griffin or Otterbox which only exposes the
working area of the screen, so edge of recess in the case was an ideal
guide for placing fingers; it was pure guess work without a case like that
and frought with unreliability. Pity the Dots company that make brailled
screen covers couldn't come to the rescue here, so there was one with a dot
in the middle of each dot button; we'd work wonders with it then. Would
someone like to suggest it to them? could be a good market, given
popularity of this app.

RobH.

MBraille is much easier for my small fingers on the phone. Can someone
describe where the keyboard is on the larger iPad? Is it too at the bottom?
Every time I try and use it I must be too far up or over too far as I can
not get more than a few words to write correctly. Thanks for any
suggestions.

Hi,

I use MBraille on my iPad mini and really like it. You have to make sure you
stay at the bottom of the screen for it to work properly.

Hope this helps,

Jenn
