Create separate accounts. I never encourage anyone to share accounts, for exactly that reason. No one wants to have the same contacts, calendar events, Safari bookmarks and passwords, Passbook passes, and more. Sure, you can't share apps, but I'd rather buy my own apps than deal with having all my personal data mixed with that of someone else, no matter how close I am to that other person. Besides, when you switch IDs, the apps will remain. You can't update them, but they will still be there unless you manually remove them.
