recording pro is a less accessible but a much cheaper app that does
exactly the same. also if your device is jailbroken, you can install a
Cydia tweak called Share memos from the default repo that adds this
functionality to the native I-OS voice memos app.

One warning. When you click on Audio options, it takes a while for the
list of all apps to populate, depending on how many you have, but it
will eventually give you the list, and perhaps quite quickly if you
don't have 6 other recording apps as I do.
