Hello all Ok, the reason you can't buy Kindle books from either the Kindle or Amazon apps is that they are not designed for this. As has been correctly pointed out, however, you can, add a book to your wish list using the Amazon app. In order to buy it you have to access the Amazon site either on your i-device or on a computer.
It is also correct that you must use one click to buy a Kindle book when on the Amazon site. If anyone is reading this who hasn't tried to purchase a Kindle book, don't be put off, it's all quite easy really, so long as you first download the Kindle app to your i-device and log in on that with your usual Amazon details. You will find that when you go to the Kindle store on the Amazon website, , your i-device will appear there. Any books you buy will appear almost immediately on your device. It's all pretty obvious, as I recall. Too easy, in fact, I've spent a fortune on Kindle since it became accessible.
