If one is in noisy environments, or does not have internet access, Siri doesn't work very well, or at all. In these situations, it would be best to have home click speed set at the level one is comfortable with. Note: when setting slow or slowest, it will take longer for apps to return to home screen, or app switcher to activate, because iOS will need to wait longer before activating the chosen function of the home button.
