The only way I know of that you can drag and drop music on to your iPhone is through iTunes and look for the automatically add to iTunes. Drop the mp3 files in to that folder and then sync iPhone with iTunes. Then I got in to play lists instead of fooling with trying to keep album songs in the same order they appear on the CD. I just created a play list for each CD. I see now that some CDs when you use iTunes to rip them will automatically create the play list for you.

Alan

There, you'll find free files of my arrangements and performances played on
the Yamaha Tyros 1 keyboard. The albums in Technics format formerly on my website are still available upon request. Thanks for listening!

The only other thing I can think of is an application called CopyTrans.
I haven't used it, but I've seen it discussed on this and other lists.

Thanks for the reply, but no that's not it. I'm gonna have to chase up an
acquaintance who mentioned it to me before I had an iphone. He said it was a
windows/PC based program and not an app...if I find out I'll report back,
cheers Steve.

Sounds like you might be talking about a program like DropBox. It stores
files in the cloud which you can then access from almost any device.
Google Drive, Ubuntu One and One Drive from Microsoft are other examples of
this service.

Hi, I'm new to the list, so hi to everyone. I've heard there's a
windows program that allows you to copy and paste files to and from
the PC and an I device. Does anyone know of such a program?, as it
would be nice to bypass iTunes if possible. Many thanks Steve.
