I use this app regularly and it does a very fine job. I've recorded meetings, doctor visits, and other things with it and I've been happy with the quality of every recording. It's going to be hard to eliminate the background noise regardless of what app you use. Perhaps an external mic might be an added benefit but I think you might be happy enough just trying Rev.
