Hi, This may sound crazy, but I have two suggestions for you to try. First, try changing the ring tone from the phone's contacts tab and compare that to using the contacts app directly. If that doesn't work, my second suggestion is to be certain you didn't accidentally use the email field for the phone number. Just try deleting it and re-adding it with a new phone field. Since there are both home and work labels for email and phone, I've made this mistake before.
