DJ, I may have been mistaken. When I hear my Wi-Fi network announced, is announced after the signal strength information is given. I probably didn't wait long enough. What is confusing is that when I see my carrier, that is spoken on a separate line. So my guess is, I was connected but didn't wait long enough to hear the name of the Wi-Fi network.
