If you just want an iPhone and don't care about the latest and greatest, then get the 5C. If however you want "what's new" and "what's hot," then wait for the new iPhone coming out this fall. My wife just got a 5C. She doesn't care about the latest and greatest, she just wanted a phone that ran better than my old iPhone 4. In the last few months, that iPhone 4 that she was using had an increasing number of issues, like the home button didn't work, the screen froze, the phone froze, and things over all did not go as smoothly for her. So she got a 5C and she is much happier now, not to mention the better processor and graphics on the 5C. Even if I could upgrade now, I would wait till the fall to get the next big thing.
