For the most part, the 5c is the same hardware as the 5 was, so the affects would be similar between those 2 models. I notice though that many companies are not as interested in developing cases for the 5c, personally I think Apple should have just left the 5 as the lower end model and had the 5S as the high end phone. This way the cases and accessories would have been compatible with both models.

One other thing to consider is upgradeability. Even if the 5C will do fine for you for now, if you hold onto your phone for a while, how will that 5C be in a few years? iPhone 4 and 4S owners often complain of battery drain and sluggishness with iOS7, while iPhone5 and 5S owners are okay for the most part. How will iOS9 treat your 5C compared to a 5S?

Andy,

Nobody really knows how much else it will have apart from the A8 processor
which is pretty much a given. The rest is all speculation, but keep in mind
as well that it will almost certainly have a 4.7 inch screen and for many
blind people the larger screen which of course also means a larger phone is
not that important.

Will it have an improved camera, well, yes, almost certainly. Will it have
Touch Id? Yes, definitely, but apart from that who knows. Speculation is
that maybe Apple will already introduce Sapphire Crystal screens this year
which of course would be awesome, but while the rumours are starting to fly
it is still early. My guess is that the 5S will stick around as the new
low-price 4 inch phone as some rumours claim Apple will release an iPhone 6
with a 4.7 and a 5.5 inch screen. I, however, could also see a new 4 inch
iPhone 6 and a 4.7 inch model as well as the 5S. Anyhow, maybe once June 2
comes around and we find out about iOS 8 there might be more that can be
deduced about the iPhone 6. I do think, however, that it will be a rewarding
fall for Apple fans with the new Apple TV, new iPhones and maybe even an
iWatch. I could also see that the iPod Touch Fifth Generation gets an update
again as it will be 2 years and of course the iPad, let's see if Apple will
add a 12 or 13 inch iPad Pro to the iPad Air and iPad Mini as well as Touch
Id.

Sieghard

Hi,
Alex Hall is right. You really ought to wait; the 5C is not a bad phone,
but it's basically the 5. You would be better off waiting for the 6 (or
whatever they're calling it), as it will have all the features of the 5S
(i.e. TouchID), and a lot more besides.
Cheers.

I personally wouldn't waste my money. Their isn't enough of a

The only major differences are the 5C is newer, probably runs
smoother, and comes in pretty colors. Other than that, it is just as
accessible and usable as your 4S.

Hello,
I'm thinking of upgrading from iphone 4S to iphone 5C.
Is the 5C fully accessible with VoiceOver?
