Hi, Most all external batteries work by providing a USB port to plug in a charging cable. So, it should not matter if you have a micro USB charger on the case, an old doc connector, or a lightning connector. Plug in the USB charging cable into the port on the battery and start recharging as if you were plugged into a computer or your wall brick. Conversely, recharging the battery is most often done by micro USB cable. You'll need to plug it into a computer or your iPhone brick.
You can easily find a cheap battery at Walmart or amazon, but lithium ion batteries are very fickle and quality matters. I suggest you look at Anker brand batteries, and pick a model that fits your charging needs. The Astro slim 6000ma may be worth a look. I personally own a 12,000ma battery from Anker that is equivalent to the Astro 3. Just be certain to by your battery from a trusted source. Amazon does sell the Anker brands, and is where I got mine. Best, --k Faith doesn't give you the answers, it merely stops you from asking the questions. On May 8, 2014, at 9:00 PM, Paul and Paula Jordan <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, all.
