As I understand it and I'm sure if I have the wrong end of it somebody on the 
list will be happy to set me straight.  iTunes Match is called match because 
the songs in your library are not the actual files.  For example, let's say you 
have a song on your computer called file .mp3.  Let's also say File.mp3 is only 
32 KBPS  iTunes will match that song but at a higher bit rate.  So, you get to 
listen to higher quality songs which comes at a price.
