Once, I took an oordinary screen protector, took some rough measurements, then folded the protector to form a straight crease across, before peeling off the backing and fitting it. The thing now is I have one reference line, and after a little experimentation and use, found how the things I need are located relative to the line crease I have across the screen. This is a cheap easy option and works almost as well.
