Sure, when in an edit field, twist the roter around to typing mode and
then flick up or down between standard and touch typing.

is there a quick way to change between touch and tap typing? I am

Thanks much!

In touch typing, when you place your finger on the character you want
to enter, you just need to lift your finger to enter that character.
This is quicker and less effort than double tapping the character you
want to enter after you land on it. I also find split tapping to be
pretty efficient, but I prefer touch typing when using my thumbs and
split tapping when using one pointer finger, although I don't often
switch to split typing when I use one pointer finger to type since I
do it so seldomly.
Ultimately the only benefit to touch typing is if you prefer it over
the other methods. Give it a try and see if you like it or not.
There's no right answers, just different options and the ability to
use whatever you prefer.

Hi,
I myself just use the on scream key Bord with touch typing inabled. I
hold my phone in my right hand and use my left index finger and it
works well for me.

Hi Everyone,
I was recently having a discussion with a friend about how to type on the
on-screen keyboard of the iPhone. Personally, I don't particularly like to use
a special program for this like, for instance, mBraill or Fleksy. I just want
to use the regular keyboard. Dictation can be useful, but of course,
sometimes, it's just nice to be able to type something relatively privately. I
have built up some speed over the past 3 years, but I would like to get faster.
I generally hold my phone in my left hand, and use my right index finger to
type, anchoring my thumb down where the connector is at the bottom of the
phone. I'm interested to know how others who type using the regular on-screen
keyboard, enter your text. I do happen to use Touch Typing mode, but I would
also be interested in what typing mode you use. And, does anyone else besides
me just use the regular on-screen keyboard for their typing needs?
Thanks!
Desi
