There's an address and search bar at the top of the page. It's in the center at the very top of the screen, just below the time. A two finger swipe up followed by a right flick or two will get you there.

I have and still do use Chrome from time to time. I've never tried the voice
feature though. I don't recall having any trouble putting in a URL and going to
that page. Using three fingers swipes up or down does change the pages for me.
This isn't too useful since it just updates the page on the screen, and I can
get to the whole page by flicking left and right without having to page up or
down.

I'm experimenting with chrome. There's a very simple screen up that says search
by voice no need to type page 1 of three. When I double tap the search by voice
nothing seems to happen well, actually nothing does happen. I've tried changing
pages, and using the two gestures I know swiping up or down with three fingers
or from right to left with three fingers doesn't seem to change anything. Has
anybody had success using chrome?

Hi Christopher,

You are correct in that Chrom and Firefox are truly multi-platform browsers,
however, you're a bit out of date on Safari and Windows. Apple discontinued
updating Safari for Windows in 2012 and a year later even stopped supporting
bookmark sync with Safari in the iCloud Control Panel. See this link for

I'm confused by the question. Chrome is a browser from Google. It runs on
Windows, Linux, IOS, Android and probably more platforms. Safari is a
browser from Apple and it runs on Apple products and Windows. I'm sorry if I
didn't answer your question.

David,

Just to be sure, Chrome is more Windows-based for Google while Safari
is more Apple-based for Google?

I actually tried Chrome again and this time I was able to pull up
a website.. It loaded very fast. I do think it is faster than Safari
is. However I do find that some of the functions that are easy to
find and Safari are not easily found in Chrome. There does not seem
to be a good menu structure in the program. There are not a lot of
buttons to do things.

Hi all
I tried Safari with the marks and Spencers website and VoiceOver
kept jumping all over the place. Would Chrome or another browser I
tried Instabrowser solve this problem? If so I'll go ahead and install
Instabrowser on my iPhone since I have Chrome already. I'll also
install Chrome and Instabrowser on my iPad. Any comments greatly
appreciated.
Thanks!

If I'm going to launch a browser directly, I launch Google

iCloud,
but I use Chrome and Firefox on my other systems instead of
Internet
Explorer and Safari. I also had a problem in a previous version
of IOS
where double tapping on a link in Safari would double tap on
some other
text on the page. This just got me into the habit of using
Google Chrome..

All that being said, since Safari is the default browser, and
this can't
be changed in IOS, if I double tap on a link in a message and
Safari
comes up then I'll just stay in Safari.
