Hello Bill, I just noticed this thread so am not aware of its previous comments.
However, I can tell you that I have reported this problem to Apple when first I noticed it, at the launch of iOS 7.0. As I understand it, the glitch appears to have something to do with the wireless provider. Who is your wireless provider? I use A T & T and the delete voicemail bug is absolutely consistent. I can re-produce it at will and so can all of the other A T & T iOS 7.x users I know.
