Hi, I recommend the battery packs from Anker. You can find them on Amazon. I just purchased a 10,000 mah battery pack which is shaped like a flat rectangle. So this means the phone can easily fit on it. Your iPhone has an average battery capacity of 1500 mah, so a battery pack of 10,000 will charge it at least 4 complete times over. The anker battery pack is the e3 model. If you need I can provide a link. Anker also makes many other types ranging from 3000 mah to 15,000 or even 20,000 mah, but those will be bigger. I don't recommend battery cases because they make the phone too bulky, and unless you are ok with that, it's not a big deal I suppose. However I like my case and I don't want a battery pack which will only charge my phone. So the external battery packs are a great buy. They come with 1 or 2 standard usb ports. This means I can charge not only my iPHone, but my Braille display, or my bluetooth earbuds, or whatever else charges via usb.

Hope that helps.

Sometimes while on the road, I guess in part because I have Twitter
Notifications, especially for news active, my battery lowers to 20 or
10% in an average of three hours, or three and a half, thus what battery
pack would you guys recommend? Is it better those that are like a
battery which you plug to the phone, or those that go directly on the
phone's back part like a case? I've got now a 3GS, thus I'd like the
battery pack to be useful for future phones, thus what recommendations?
