Ditto. All we know is a new feature in iOS 8 called Braille Input will
be introduced with the possibility of direct six dot entry. How this
exactly works I cannot say for sure and no one can even if they like me
are a tester because it's not in the public domain except for that blurb
which was apparently shown as a slide at the conference and wasn't
actually talked about.

Hi Maria,
I am not a beta tester for Apple, so this is just my impression.
It sounds to me like Apple may be planning to build in their own version of a
braille keyboard, but that is only a guess. I hope they just let us choose to
use mBraille, but no one will know until Apple releases that information which
probably won't happen until September.

Subject: IOS 8 and keyboard questions.
Hello list,
I have read online that there will be a new option in IOS8 that we will
have a choice to use alternative keyboard such as MBraille or Fleksy.
I would like to ask those of you who have beta version installed is it
necessary to have MBraille or Fleksy installed on I-device being able to
use an alternative keyboard or alternative keyboards will be the option
in the rotor and the apps like Fleksy or MBraille will not have to be
installed?
I realize beta testers are not allowed to provide such information
before new IOS will come out, but I am asking this question for my
friends. In case there will be a must to purchase MBraille to access
alternative keyboards option, I would like to let them know this fact
because as many of you know MBraille is not the cheapest app, so they
can save money in advance and purchase it if necessary.
Thank you very much for your help.
With kind regards
Maria
