I completely agree, Christopher. Also, blindness GPS apps can provide a
level of intersection announcement that mainstream maps solutions simply
would not know about. Also, with blindness specific GPS apps you can get
different information from multiple apps in tandem, and you can lock your
screen which I deem to be much more secure. In most cases, you also do not
have to be operating the screen of your phone while you are walking, to find
necessary information.

I'll just toss out that whether you consider this an extreme premium is a
personal decision. It'll depend on each person's economic situation and how
much they're willing to pay for the convenience and features in the Seeing
Eye app. What one person might consider an extreme premium another might
consider a bargain, especially if independence and personal safety is
involved.
