Well, I suppose anything's possible. I guess we will see! *grins* And, if it's different enough to justify the purchase people will do it; myself included. It does seem like with the prior voiceover accessible apple TV's that there hasn't been anything that they couldn't do exactly the same with the OS changes. This, from my perspective anyway as we've got two different generations of boxes in the house. As I said, anything's possible though. I do know that people really want it to be a set top box, though I'm unsure of why they'd make that feature an option because then people would have no need to plunk down a ton of money for season passes on iTunes, or to purchase other TV shows or movies from there. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what the next Apple TV ends up being.

Basically, all the apple related blogs. If you have twitter, it's pretty easy but of course you can just go there. :-) As best as I can see from what's been going around, the only thing that those of us with prior generations of apple TV's won't be able to do, is play content in HD. You can still play content that is HD only, it will just look different on screen for folks who can see. And, you'll get the new oS updates just like normal to the generation of Apple TV that you have. We have two; and I can't see the need to purchase newer models when it's basically the same box; though I would if for some reason there was going to be real changes to my current viewing experience that made it necessary.
