You probably didn't complete the process as this happened to me as I was figuring it out, but once I correctly completed the process, Siri is properly speaking the name. I rebooted and Siri is still pronouncing the name just fine. I just completed this process once again to make sure all was correct.

You will be asked to choose a pronunciation for any remaining parts of the person's name such as left middle and last name. 8. When the process has completed, you will hear one of two messages: "Thanks for correcting me on that, I'll pronounce it as X from now on." or "Great, I'll pronounce it "X" from now on." If you are not presented with these Siri replies, it is likely the changes did not go through so try again. 9. If all went well, press the Home button to close any remaining Siri screen. 10.
