Hello List,

As several have pointed out, different strokes for different folks. Like on
the Mac OS side there are a few ways to skin a cat and collectively from all
the resources out there, I am able to choose the style that fits me best in
performing a task whether it be navigating the iPhone or Mac or using an app
more efficiently. I am eclectic in nature and I have found that various
resources will add to the experience in using the OS or iOS environment.
There have been other threads in the past that have been ridiculed on this
list whether it be a new publication or an app that individuals feel are too
expensive and there are some that feel that all items either books or apps
should be free or cost almost nothing because being blind is an entitlement
to receive stuff either for free or at a low cost. This is nothing new and
hopefully, the monitors of this list will either close the thread and/or
handle the inflammatory remarks off list. This is all I want to say and will
begin to use that wonderful delete key on this thread.

Thanks for listening.

Cheers,
Eileen

Let's show the same level of compassion toward others that we would like to
receive.
That's something you cannot learn from an iPhone.

learning styles, as Jonathan said. And people's patience and frustration
levels with a new tool, such as iOS8 will be, also vary. Lists can only get
you so far; and one often finds more negative messages about things wrong
than messages about things right. yet the fact is that someone's 'major bug'
often will be another's minor irritant - if even that.
