You should still have a "my music" folder on your new pc. I think I've copied all the necessary files into another location on my Windows 7 laptop so that I can transfer them to the Windows 8 one. I just need the iTunes folder from the My Music folder, correct? After that, where do I put it? I assume I install iTunes onto the new computer before transfering the library. My question is, because I have a slightly different file path than I did before, how do I tell the library on the new system point ! a few other locatioNs when lkoking for media? I handled all the organization of files on my old system, and didn't let iTunes do anything in terms of moving files or reorganizing or whatever. I just made it reference certain parts of my drive. I'd like to do the same on my new system, if I can. I hope this is making some kind of sense. I don't know of any better way to explain what I want to do or what I'm stuck on.
